The 3rd annual Las Vegas Drum Show is in the books. Radius Drums is proud to have participated again this year!
Held on the outskirts of town at Desert Oasis High School, this years drum show boasted a wide range of vendors from DW & Paiste to one man shops like me and Nebe Drum Co.
Heading to Vegas from our home base in Port Orchard, WA my son and I packed ourselves into an SUV loaded with 16 snare drums and a full booth display including shelving and large banners and started off our road trip. It was a tight squeeze! After a one night stay in Reno we made it to the venue in Las Vegas with just enough time to load in and set up. The Radius Drums booth was strategically placed right next to this year’s clinician Eric Moore II’s Dope Stickz booth. We really stepped up our display this year with 7 foot tall shelves adorned with lights and three 2’x4′ banners.
It was awesome to see many familiar faces stop by along with newcomers checking out our handmade snare drums. Two lucky raffle winners took home a Radius snare this year. One raffled at our booth and another in the main show raffle, shown here…
Eric Moore II put on and excellent clinic with a short Q&A. If I remember correctly he’s playing a mahogany/cherry DW kit along with his signature Kelley Drums snare and it did not disappoint.
A big draw this year was the Roman Coliseum snare drum that I collaborated on with Nancy Spurlock. This is the first of many collaborations with Nancy.

All in all was a great show with a ton of awesome vendors and gracious, drum loving attendees.
