This one-of-a-kind Radius Drums snare pairs alternating mahogany and birch staves with a laser-engraved moth design inspired by The Last of Us. The engraving isn’t just decoration—it’s a subtle nod to resilience, transformation, and finding hope in unlikely places.
The combination of mahogany and birch creates a voice that’s both warm and articulate. Mahogany delivers a deep, full-bodied fundamental with a smooth low end, while birch adds attack, projection, and crisp articulation. At 7½” deep, this 13″ snare offers impressive body and sensitivity, making it equally at home laying down fat backbeats or responding to the lightest ghost notes.
Every Radius Drums shell is handcrafted one stave at a time, carefully shaped, glued, turned, and finished by hand in my Washington workshop. No two drums are exactly alike, ensuring that each instrument has its own character and story.
